What is Chalazion?
Chalazion is a grain size tumor like enlargement on the eye-lid. Traditionally, surgical removal is advised by the eye-surgeons. Interestingly, there is an alternative medical treatment with homeopathy which can successfully help get rid of this condition in most cases. Surgery can safely be avoided in most cases. Homeopathy also treats the tendency to get frequent stye and chalazion.

Symptoms
Hard, nontender swelling of the upper or lower eyelid.

The white of the eye is red and elevated.

Vision may be impaired if the Chalazion presses against the cornea of the eye

Cause
This occurs when an Abscess of the meibomian gland of the eyelid (i.e., an internal Hordeolum Abscess) is followed by granulomatous (a type of inflammatory reaction) inflammation.
